Reviewing and evolving SLOs
On This Lesson 4 topics
This lesson is planned. The outline below lists the topics it will cover. The full lesson has not been published yet.
In this lesson
keep SLOs useful and retire those that are not.
Planned topics
- Review quarterly: was the target met, did it match customer pain, did it drive decisions?
- An SLO nobody acts on, or that is always at 100%, is noise; tighten, loosen, or retire it.
- Incidents that did not breach any SLO reveal a missing SLI.
- Change targets with data and agreement, and record why.
