Clean architecture
On This Lesson 4 topics
This lesson is planned. The outline below lists the topics it will cover. The full lesson has not been published yet.
In this lesson
compare clean architecture with hexagonal.
Planned topics
- Concentric rings: entities → use cases → interface adapters → frameworks and drivers.
- Same dependency rule as hexagonal: source code points inward only.
- Adds an explicit use-case ring and the idea of boundary data structures (DTOs crossing rings).
- Onion architecture is a close cousin. In practice the three share one idea: protect the domain.
- Pick one vocabulary per team; do not argue over names.
