Step by step
- Create a managed PostgreSQL instance and note its connection string.
- Create the app service from the tagged image in the registry.
- Set environment variables and secrets; enable the readiness probe as the platform health check.
- Deploy from the pipeline; open the public URL and call the health endpoint.
- Planned mistake: the app starts in a loop because liveness checks the database, which is not reachable yet; move the database check to readiness.
- Place an order through the live API.
